DALL·E 2.

I still haven't really figured out how to write great prompts for the DALL·E image generator. With Kermit, and the Doctor, and an iMac, I learned pretty quickly that it won't recognize specific, branded references, or at least not very well. I wonder what kind of data they're really getting from users like me — personally I think it could be funny (and revealing, in the way Google search results document our interests and intentions) to see what kind of prompts people write, like John Oliver's cabbage segment on Last Week Tonight. But really, it feels self-evident that it just boils down to a fun way to get more users engaged in training the algorithm. Maybe we don't always flag results that go wrong, but we change our prompts and save the results that turn out best.
